Join our discussion on Dec 4th! Webinar on how contextual and institutional factors affect evidence use in public agencies

Date: December 4, 2019

Time: 4:00 PM Beirut time // 2:00 PM GMT

Interested in improving your understanding of challenges and opportunities for improved evidence demand within diverse policymaking contexts? Come and join us in a webinar organized by The Global Evidence Synthesis Initiative (GESI) in which we will share how to use our “Context Matters framework”. This is a participatory tool to help detect and seize the best entry points to improve the use of knowledge in public agencies.

We will also share a matrix that has been developed from it by PACKS to assess 4 organisations in Ghana and Kenya building on the framework. We will then host a participatory discussion of potential relevant qualitative methods to augment data gathered from quantitative tools so as to have more complete diagnosis of what can be done and how.

You will leave the webinar with a clear understanding on how you can better decipher context and make good choices on how to contribute to improved evidence use and organisational change.
